Council Services

One of the things that many residents find unclear is exactly which Council – Town, District or County – is responsible for what in the town. As a very rough guide:

Town Council

The town council has responsibility for:

AMENITY AREAS

Irnham Road Recreation Ground, King George V Playing Field, Cross Farm Park, Periton Playing Field and Alcombe Marsh Common including the Rose Garden, Culvercliffe Play Area and Alcombe Combe.

The Public Conveniences at Irnham Road Recreation Ground will be CLOSED on CHRISTMAS DAY, BOXING DAY and NEW YEARS DAY.
